Basilicata is a little known but soon to be discovered region in the South of Italy that borders Puglia.

The area is unspoilt and largely undiscovered. Food and wine in the area is, as you would expect in Italy, delicious with the emphasis on fresh local produce.

The beaches are some of the best in Europe with mile upon mile of empty sandy beaches, gently shelving into the warm Ionian Sea and fringed with pine forests.
